Realisation of projects in the domains of architecture and museology, continuation of research for specific
applications of the Photoglas technique.

Completion and opening of the project “Nobel Prize and University of Vienna–group portrait with question mark” by order and on behalf of the University of Vienna, Austria (co-operation with Roger Baumeister the architect who redesigned the University of Vienna and the Institute of Contemporary History, headed by University Professor Dr. Friedrich Stadler together with Mag. Herbert Posch as well as the Rectorate of the University of Vienna).

Completion and opening of the project “The Siegfried’s Head Controversy” by order and on behalf of the University of Vienna, Austria (co-operation with Roger Baumeister, the architect who redesigned the University of Vienna and the Institute of Contemporary History, headed by University Professor Dr. Friedrich Stadler together with Mag. Mario Wimmer as well as the Rectorate of the University of Vienna).

Invitation to the special exhibition “glass technology live”, Glasstec, Düsseldorf 2006, cooperation with the
University of Stuttgart and Messe Düsseldorf, Germany.

Planning and technical execution for an indoor sculpture as part of the modification of the lawyers’ office of
Sonn & Partner, Vienna, Austria (architect Karl-Heinz Eggl).

Indoor object for the Centre for Innovation and Technology (Zentrum für Innovation und Technologie – ZIT) as part of the office extension, Vienna, Austria.

Invited to the exhibit accompanying the „SFT Congress of Architecture“, Münster, Germany (realisation in
cooperation with Lutz Gock).

Lecture within the framework of the colloquium “Les Apôtres des Georges de la Tour: réalités et virtualités”,

Cooperation and working group with C2RMF, Centre de recherche et de restauration des musées en France,

Invitation (pilot project) to participate in the special exhibition of “glass technology live”, Glasstec

Exhibition of the installation for Gertrud Kraus within the framework of the project “point of departure”, Ein
Hod, Israel.

Conception and realisation of a translucent “luminous wall” for an eye laser clinic, Vienna, Austria (Architect
Claus Radler).

Invitation to participate in Conzen Glas’s presentation at “Designer’s Saturday”, Düsseldorf, Germany.

Invitation by Schott Spezialglas GmbH to participate in the Mutec 2003 trade fair, Munich, Germany.

Grant received from the FFF - Austrian Industrial Research Promotion Fund, Austria.

Invitation by the “Institut für Fenstertechnik” (Institute for Window Technology), ift-Rosenheim, to a special
exhibition, “Intelligente Gebäudehüllen” (“Intelligent Sheathing for Buildings”), within the framework of the
trade fair bau 2003, Munich, Germany.



2002
Establishment of the first Photoglas production unit.

Implementation of indoor projects. Continuing research for outdoor application.

Among the top ten winners of the Business Plan Competition i2b, organized by the Austrian Economic
Chamber, Bank Austria, and VA-Tech.

Participation in the photo trade fair Photokina 2002, Cologne.

Selected to present a mock-up façade (pilot project) within the framework of “glass technology live”, Glasstec
2002, Düsseldorf.

Invitation to participate in the exhibition of Lumière Technologie at the Salon du Patrimoine Culturel-Le
Caroussel du Louvre, Paris.

Competition “Wiennovation Creative Industries” conducted by the Vienna Business Agency (WWFF); 2nd
place.


2001

Commission to develop a concept for a façade in Shanghai. Client: SwissCenterShanghai.

Atelier relocation from Paris to Vienna, Austria.

Opening of the atelier on the 21st of September in Vienna, Austria.

Opening of the second section of the permanent site-specific intervention “Die Linde” (The Lime Tree) within
the framework of the opening of the Styrian Provincial Archive in Graz, Austria.

Order by the Canton of Fribourg for the planning and implementation of the “Pavillon Fribourgeois” project
within the framework of the Swiss National Exhibition EXPO 02 (the project was not realized).


2000
Opening of the first section of the permanent site-specific intervention “Die Linde” (The Lime Tree) within the
framework of the “styrian autumn” festival.

Start of experiment series and test runs with large-scale glass panels.

Start of cooperation with a glass processing specialist in Austria.

Start of cooperation with ILFORD IMAGING SWITZERLAND GmbH, Switzerland.

Start of research on embedding large-format film slides in glass, with a view to using this technology in future
façade construction projects.

“Die Linde” (The Lime Tree), our submission for a permanent site-specific intervention, wins the competition
launched by the Styrian Provincial Archive in Austria.
